Brazilian looking for his great-great-grandfather Volpato Family

Post by Rikevolpato »

Hello!
I'm looking for my italian great-great-grandfather.

What I now know about him is that his baptismal name is Giacommo Volpato (I also found wrote as Vulpato), but when he arrived in Brazil his name has been changed to Jacomo Volpato. He was born in Italy, around 1870.

He was married to Virginia Perosini, also born in Italy. Unfortunately, I do not know if they have got married in Italy or in Brazil.

Giacomo died in Brazil, in the city of Jaú, State of São Paulo, in 1931.

Apparently, his parents were Gasparo Volpato and Maria Luigia Carpin (born in 1846). They got married in Italy on February 19, 1868 (information found on the FamilySearch website).

Can anyone please help me? Where can I start?

Thank you very much and in advance for your attention!

All the best,

Hello everyone!

I would like to thank VERY much to everyone who helped me in the search for my great-great-grandfather. Everyone's help was essential to my process.

I just arrived in Italy, and this was only possible because of this group.

:D :D :D
