I see the father, Vincenzo, of Teresa has passed away but I am having difficulty figuring out if her mother, Maria Capriotti, is alive at the time. I does seem as she is alive but I'd like a second opinion.

Yes, Maria was still living - in Colonnella. There is no "fu" (was) before her name. If both parents were deceased it would have the word "furono" (were) before Vincenzo's name.
