The town would be Pontecagnano Faiano and it is in the province of Salerno. There are some records here but they are all after 1908: http://dl.antenati.san.beniculturali.it ... i+Salerno/


Edit to Add: I've checked Family Search and it doesn't look like records, prior to 1908, were filmed, although it seems likely there will be more included with the Montecorvino Pugliano records as per the Birth Record for Maria Letizia Romano: https://www.italiangenealogy.com/forum/ ... 82#p281382
