Dated May 11, 1871, the birth took place on the 10th at 8 a.m. The father, a 40 year old bracciante (day laborer) was named Giovanni Ambruoso, son of deceased Carmine. The mother, Elisabetta Bruttone, age 34, the daughter of deceased Mattia, was living with her husband in the place known as via San Pietro. The male infant was given the name Pasquale Ambruoso
