Hello,
I too have Basile ancestry. My great x 3 grandmother was Filomena Basile. She was from Buccino in Salerno. She died in 1871 in her 20's. She married Domenico Trimarco and died after the birth of her third child, Giovanni Trimarco. Just thought I would throw that out there in case there might be any connection. I can trace Filomena's ancestry back a generation or two.

After arriving in America he settled in Hammonton, New Jersey. I am looking for anything about the Basile family from Gesso and/or anything concerning the Basile surname in general.
