Who are the parents

Post by dmarieFS »

Good morning

Does this say Assunta of Giuseppe or Alfonso?

Also, I can't find the mother's name

The mother is Assunta Serino, daughter of Giuseppe (Serino). The name of the father is left blank-not given (unknown or he did not come forward to recognize the infant as his daughter) and the infant was given the mother's surname.

At least Assunta was of age with a birth year of 1831.

Interesting.

Thank you,

Last question for today.

What does it say at the top of Maria Concetta's record? Did she get married in 1887?

On July 30 1887 Maria Concetta Serino married in Naples (Vicaria) Lorenzo Petrosino
