Hi, here the meaning:
In the letter, the writer is a nephew, and after the pleasantries, he asks for a photo of this Aunt Liberata who is in the USA and that he - that is the nephew - no longer remembers, but remembers only Domenica and Antonietta (I think they are the children of Liberata). Then the grandson faces the main concept, namely: having learned that a share of the house due to Aunt Liberata, the same Aunt Liberata wants to give it to her niece Giovina and he agrees, and wants to buy back the share of Giovina (clearly he already has a part of this house and wants to have it all, paying Giovina the share that Aunt Liberata gives her) then he asks her to send him a letter in which he writes to donate the share of the house to Giovina, and puts the signature, but the signature must be legalized, because there are other cousins and grandchildren who could claim that the share of Aunt Liberata is divided between all. Instead, with a letter with a legalized signature, nobody has to say anything. It would be more helpful to have a power of attorney, he says, but being expensive, it is better not to spend money, and she can do so, a letter with a legalized signature, and he will pay £ 40,000 to Giovina for the Giovina's share.
