Hello,
Would someone be so kind as to translate this Latin 1823 document which is a marriage between Pastore and Borghesio. I would appreciate it so much.

Marriage took place on Feb 6th.
Groom: Giovanni battista Pastore, son of Giorgio (son of deceased Giovanni), and Caterina Zucchino
Bride: Maria Maddalena, daughter of Giovanni Battista (son of deceased Pietro Borghesio), and Maria Baratto.
Witnesses were Giuseppe Pastore, son og Giorgio, and
Giovanni Battista Pastore, son of deceased Domenico, both born and living in this town.

Hi Pippo,
Thanks so much for the translation from Latin for my 3rd great grandparents, between Giovanni Battista Pastore and Maria Maddalena. I want to make certain I am understanding this correctly.

My 4th great grandfather would be Giorgio Pastore married to Caterina, correct?
Is my 5th great grandfather Giovanni Pastore, father of Giorgio?

My 4th great grandfather is Giovanni Battista Borghesio married to Maria Baratto.
My 5th great grandfather is Pietro Borghesio.

I think I have it right but just in case. Are there two d's in Maria Maddalena? In other records there is only one that is why I am asking.

I appreciate the help so very much.

Yes, that's right

In modern Italian, we write Maddalena; in Southern dialects, pronounciation is Madalena, so maybe that's why you found that spelling

Dear Pippo,
Thanks so much for your reply. I was on the church records site for Piverone today with so many Latin records; not easy to decipher at all, oh my! I thought at least I would be able to decipher the names but even that is difficult. I will keep on trying though.
Thanks again,
Jefferie
