Assistance with the translation of birth record for Joannef Negri

Post by jrbak »

Good Afternoon,
I would appreciate help with the translation and any additions or corrections of this birth record for Giovanni Battista Negri.

He was born May 10, 1786 and his name is Giovanni Battista (Joanef Bapti) Negri, legitimate and natural son of Domenico, son of deceased Giuseppe (Joseph), from Anna Maria, daughter of Dominico Ambrosio. Jugalium Negri (married couple or spouses). Baptized on the same day. Can't read the other names except Joanef (Giovanni) B... from.... Maria Catterina? from ? Negri.

Thank you so much,
Sincerely,

He was baptized May 10, 1786 and his name is Giovanni Battista (Joannes Bapta) Negri, legitimate and natural son of Domenico, son of deceased Giuseppe (Joseph), from Anna Maria, daughter of Dominico Ambrosio. Jugalium Negri (married couple or spouses). Born on the same day. Can't read the other names (Godparents, I think) Joannes Bapta ex Antonio Barat et Maria Catharina ex Joseph Negri

Dear PippoM,
Thank you so much for all of your translation work for me and I appreciate your additions and corrections so much as I learn from them. I will go back and look at the words for born and baptism so I will know in the future too.
Grazie,
Jefferie (jrbak)
