Document #1 (image 72) is the baptismal certificate of the groom:
Luigi Liberato, son of the citizens Agostino D'Amato and Maria Domenica Avallone, was baptized on May 13h,1799.
Prist was Giuseppe Cubicciotti, godmather Giovanna Stabile (midwife).
Notice the use of the word "civium"="cittadini"="citizens", typical of French Revolution age.

Hello and thank you. Two questions,
1. Did you mean to say Groom Luigi D'Amato..... and not Luigi Liberato, given the father is Augustino D'Amato?

2. What significance is the use of the word Civium? Do you perhaps think the priest had a French decent?

Thank you

Complete name was Luigi Liberato (first and, let's say, middle name) D'Amato (surname)

In 1799 a revolution brought to the escape of the Bourbon king, and to the foundation of a "Neapolitan Republic", based on the values of French Revolution; one custom of the revolutionists was that they no more called people, for instance, "Mr. D'Amato", but "the citizen D'Amato"
