discrepancy in records –feedback appreciated

Hi Everyone,

There’s a discrepancy I’ve been trying to work out. Any thoughts, ideas, suggestions on the below is greatly appreciated.

I obtained the attached document from the Bova Comune. It lists Caterina’s date of birth as Apr 17, 1912.
Her parents are Demetrio and Rosa Crupi.

I had found her baptism record (#13 top of page 31) confirming same.

I had also found a marriage record (page 218) of Caterina, born Apr 17, 1912, daughter of Demetrio and Rosa Crupi, to Vincenzo Crupi, son of Antonino and Caterina Lofaro, both of Palizzi, on Oct 4, 1934.

But it wasn’t until I was double checking a print out of the documents that I saw a notation on Caterina’s baptismal record. Thank you to LIVIOMORENO who translated the side margin notes to reveal a marriage to Antonio Calenda, son of Luigi and Anna Grazioli, on Oct 26, 1936.

My first thought is that the priest might have added the marriage notation to the wrong baptismal record. However, I haven’t been able to find the Oct 26, 1936 marriage act to review the information. Thoughts?

LIVIOMORENO also translated Caterina’s date of birth as Feb 29, 1912. Does anyone else see Feb 29 in the record?

I am sorry, the month is April, not February. The day looks to be 29 (or maybe 27)

I read the 29th and not the 27th.
