I do not think there is a town called just Lazio in the region of Lazio. There are some with Lazio on the end of the name. But there is an Alvito.
Unfortunately id does not have a website but this link does have some important data concerning Alvito. http://www.comuni-italiani.it/060/004/
Apparently it is a very small town east of Frosinone, the provincia.

Lazio is the region. Frosinone is the area, and also a town. A good site is http://www.laciociaria.it/default.asp but its in Italian. Alvito is in the Comino Valley

Frosinone is the province in the Regione del Lazio.
It's area o territory is called Ciociaria
Many assume this name was given by the traditional "shoes" they wore: CIOCIE
