Corona/Metti

Post by crctracing@gmail.com »

Hi

Can someone please help me to decipher and glean any possible information about the following people from the publications below.

The people are Carlo Corona and Maria Metti, Pietro Giuseppe Corona and Angela Maria Mantelli. I have hit a brick wall at Carlo and Maria in particular and am hoping to somehow break away from the towns in Alessandria, Piemonte to where there are available town records online. Other later portions of the Corona's were found in Ventimiglia, Imperia, so I am hoping that as I go back the town changes, if that makes sense. Below are three of the seven pages, Should you wish to see them I can PM them to you. TIA

These documents are birth and baptism certificates.
One is of Angela Maria Mantelli; She was born in Valle delle Grazie on Jan 16th, 1864, and baptized on the same day in the Church of the Beata Vergine. She was the daughter of Luigi Mantelli (son of Giacomo Francesco) and of Isabella Cellerino, both peasants living in Valle delle Grazie.

The other is of Pietro Giuseppe Corona; he was born on Oct 4th, 1856, and baptized on day 5th, in the church of San Nazzaro in Lu (the Italian town with the shortest name). Son of Carlo Corona and Maria Metti, living in Lu.

If you have more documents, you can post them here.

The last is the cover of the folder of the "Allegati".
The others are the certificates of publication of banns in Alessandria, and in San Salvatore Monferrato (where Pietro Giuseppe was residing at the time of marriage); Angela Maria was residing in Valmadonna, a hamlet of Alessandria.

Hi PippoM

Can you suggest any method I can move forward finding the bloodline. All records for LU from before 1866 are locked to LDS Centres and unfortunately even though we have four such centres here they are all either unmanned and or non functional.

Thanks

P.S. I even trued to write to the Comune's and to the Diocese for the area.
