She says they could not find Francesco and Giuseppe Corona in the enrollment lists ("Liste di leva").
If you need the "foglio matricolare" (the document listing WHAT a person did during his military service), you have to write to the Archivio di Stato of Savona, where such documents for the town of Ventimiglia are kept (it seems strange, but that's it).
She also says there's an "attestazione di nascita" for Giuseppe Corona (stating father, mother and residence) in their Archive #548, that can be found in Antenati site, that should be here:
