Re: Translate Birth Record
Thank you So much for finding this. Is this a digital record or did you look this up? I have been trying to find the birth and death records for my great great grand father but have not found a resource on line. If you can point me to the website you used it would be helpful. He was born in Montalbano De Elicona Messina in 1817 and died in 1915 according to family. He was 98. His wife was Maria Tomoro. I thought this Entry for Nicola may have been his son. According to family stories he had a son Nicolo who died before 1873 at a young age. This birth record fits except for the wife’s maiden name?? Maybe this is him and he had more than one wife
Thank you again
Julie
Thank you again

The records are all in Italian and organized by archives holdings (usually by province, then town)
The mother's surname in the record was hard to read, but looking at it again I would say it most definitely could be TUMOLO. I think this is the correct Nicola.
