Aurosia / Eurosia Periotto, Suor Pia

Post by Thayne »

My half-aunt; Aurosia Periotto (I do not know how she spelled her name; I've seen different spellings) was a nun and served in Guarda Veneta, Rovigo and Cervia, Ravenna, Emilia-Romagna, Italy. She went by Suor Pia. I have made different attempts to discover more information from the Church, but have not been able to receive anything. How do I get any records concerning her service as a nun (Suore di Santa Giovanna Antida)?

Would she have any possessions such as a journal, family photos, etc? I am her closest living relative. But again, I cannot find any information.

I have not found her birth record in FamilySearch or any records. What do I do?

Parents: Domenico Periotto, 1900-1964; Margherita Forlani, 1900-1973

I have tried several ways in order to get information about my aunt. I can't seem to find either the right people to talk to or the right way. Not sure.
