Hello! I've been doing more research on my Great-Grandfather's family from Vizzini, Sicily and long story short, found out from various records that he was born out of wedlock and legitimized when his parents eventually got married when he was 11 years old. I talked to family about it and heard that a few other children were also born and put up for adoption, is there any way I could find these children? Would they be recorded in birth records?
I've translated his parent's marriage act, except for the hand-written paragraph at the bottom, so would appreciate a translation there.

I also found the marriage allegati, which includes two hand-written pages (images 373 and 374) that I would appreciate a translation for as I'm not sure what they concern. There are also 2 certificates of poverty (images 375 and 376), which I've never seen before. What was the significance of these?

The spouses legitimize as their children:
1) Benedetto Luigi, recorded on September 25, 1910 as the son of Giuseppe Filippo Pontorno and an unknown mother;

2) Carmela, registered on November 13, 1912 as the natural daughter of both.

The two documents certify that neither Giuseppe Filippo Pontorno (son of Benedetto and Carmela Di Pietro, both deceased, born on September 25, 1869 in Licodia Eubea) nor Marianna Arfè (daughter of deceased Vincenzo and Carmela Spagnuolo, born on February 19, 1888 in Licodia Eubea) are already married.

Poverty certificates are necessary to be able to use the free and unmarked card for documents to be submitted for marriage.
