First let me say I am having an awful time trying to figure out these church records from bagheria. But I think I may have found one for Pietro Di Salvo and Rosa Dragotta.
It seems the indexes go off the first name and often the first names are the latin version. So I am hoping that Perro is the latin version of Pietro.
-The date is Feb 2, 1820 (which seems about when their marriage would take place)
Can you confirm the following
1) Is it in fact a marriage record?
2) Does it list names of parents? (from other records, Rosa's parents were Giuseppe Dragotta and Giuseppa Sciortino, but I do not have any information on Pietro's parents)
Thanks for any help you can provide

I believe this is a birth record...
dated 2 February 1820 - birth on 1 February
Born to Pietro di Salvo and Rosa Dragotta, married couple, a child who was given the name Gaetano, Rosario, Giuseppe (in Latin Caeitanus, Rosarius, Joseph)
Godparents: Rosario Agnello and his wife Girolama

Thank you Tessa, and I'm sorry I got it so wrong. It must have been an older child of these ancestors.
I'll have to go back a few more years and check again.
I'm really struggling with these church records, they don't have any title sheets that say if it's a birth, marriage or death record

I'm afraid to ask.. but could this be the marriage record of Pietro Di Salvo and Rosa Dragotta?
Rosa's parents were named Giuseppe and Giuseppa Sciortino which I kind of see in the record. But the first names of the bride and groom are throwing me off. I only know them as Pietro and Rosa

Yes, it appears to be the marrige of Petrum [Pietro] di Salvo, son of Caeitanus [Gaetano] and of Antonia Spano; and Rosam [Rosa] Dragotta, daughter of Joseph [Giuseppe] and Josepha [Giuseppa] Sciortino

Finally I got one right! I'm taking a bow... please clap
Thank you so much for translating it Tessa. It's a shame the church records don't mention the parents ages at the time of the marriage.
