1885 deaths

Post by Uxoiraq »

Hi,

While searching another family ancestor, I ran into a rash of Cocchiola children's deaths. I think there were 5 of them in 10 days, all children ranging from 2 years to 18 years old.
Attached is a page with 2 of them listed.

Can you please tell me the parents and age of Mariangela and Carmenantonio? I'm not sure where to find the parents name and I think their ages are 13 and 16 respectfully.

Also, is there a cause of death there somewhere?

Thank you,
Jim

Cause of death is not given.

Mariangela's parents are Nicola, landowner; and Maddalena Capobianco, landowner.
She was age 13.

Carminantonio was age 16, and had the same parents.

No cause of death listed but my guess would be that there was a cholera epidemic in the town or area.

Thanks, it looks like Nicola and Madellana lost 3 and Francesco and Clementina Capobianco lost 2.
On Carmenantonio's report, at the beginning, there's a Carmine Cocchiola mentioned. Who is he?

Carmine was a 46yo farmer who was one of the two declarants of the death.
No relationship is indicated in the record.
