Help with translation of birth certs

Post by JohnBhoy »

Looking for translations for these four birth records for surname Maritano.

Trying to work out if they are the same parents or if even related, dates, grandparents, as much info as possible for them.
The one name I thought I was picking out is Antonio Maritano - which is the same as my G.G.G. Grandfather from this town.

4) entry 11 https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903 ... at=1019269

Thank you for any help you can give,

best regards,

Thank you for the translations bbivona, very much appreciated.

Do they give any indications of the names of the grandparents as now trying to work out if possibly related to, as children of, Antonio Maritano / Angela Listello.

Best regards and thank you again,
John

No, I don't see anything that would give any clues about that. More information was given on the parents in records earlier in the century, but in the 1880s the information was often just the name, occupation, and residence of the parents and the age of the father if he was also the declarant.

ERROR CORRECTION

Not sure what happened in my typing, but the father's name is wrong on my original.

Thank you again bbivona, at this point I haven't found a link with them and my ancestors...yet :) there are so many Maritano' in that town that and it is just a pity that I haven't found any records before 1866 which may help me link them and what I know so far.

Well back to the research it is, thank you so much for your help,
have a good weekend,
John
