Birth No 263: Nicolo' Marzolino
Registered town of Orsogna on 2 September 1884

Appearing was Maria Giuseppa Curti, 73 yo, midwife, living in Orsogna, who reported that at 7 am on 2 September 1884, in the house in Vico Settimo Corso Orientale?, No 11, from Teodora de Grandis, a contadina, wife of Raffaele Marzolino, a contadino, both living in Orsogna, was born a baby boy who she presented to the official and gave the name Nicolo, who the official acknowledged as being without life.

Basically, the midwife presented the baby instead of the father, Raffaele Marzolino, because he was far away from the town at the time.

I was wondering why I couldn't find a death certificate for Nicolo. He was born dead. My family did not know anything about him.
Thank you, Angela
