Writing on a crossed-out birth record?

Post by darkerhorse »

What does it read in the crossed out section above record number 98 - Annunciato ???

What does it mean when this is written on a birth record.

Could be Annulato - canceled. Why would this record be canceled?

It is Annullato - Cancelled
It does not explain why and many pages before that are "annullate".

there is a deleted record #98 on image 67 where the father is Giuseppe Abbo.
The record became #100 on image 75
