Trying to find Info on ggrandpa SABATINI

I am looking for information on the Sabatini name. I have no relatives left on this side of my family and I do have a copy of a 1930 census. I cannot find anymore information. I was wondering if anyone could help me?

Ermanno Gildo( probable) Diapoulos SABATINI this could be the right spell.. Diapoulos is greek surname and perhaps the Erman mother surname...

According to the census, immigration occured in 1911, and Geno was naturalized.
He is also listed as a veteran.

it seem the same person, in fact also in the Ermindo from Lima(?) the father is in Piteglio, and the brother seem the same in the all ship's manifest.. in 1923 this Ermindo if was the right erman he must be already married and with eloisa daughter already, instead this Ermindo is again single in 1923!!

I would pull birth, marriage and death records, as well as search for obituaries. There are not that many churches in the area, contact them as well.

Thanks for writing me back. I sent you a message via hotmail, ancestory. Let me know if you don't get it. But the short of it was that I think the Filippo Rinella (wife Mary Amedo, daughter Tena, sons Anthony J., James Paul, and August) who was a friut vendor in Chicago IL, was my great grandfather's brother (possibly only half brother) and that he may be relation to you as well. Let me know if you have that same person in your family tree.

I do Filippo and Maria Amodeo Rinella in my tree. Maria's grandmother, Antonina B. Rinella (spouse Agostino S Cutrara) was the sister of my ggg grandfather Agostino Mariano Rinella (spouse Filippa diNova). I will send you what I have relating to that. Wait to you see it!!! Thanks, everyone for all the great information! I did locate a cousin in S.C. that is the son of Agnes Jensen, my grandmothers half sister. I am going to contact him and see if I can get more information on my great grandmother. I am still hitting a wall on Erman Sabatini. I know he went by the name Geno Sabatini here in Illinois. I am trying some of the suggestions you gave me. Ermindo from Lima, Italy was a great thought!
Erman Giodo could've very easily been Ermindo. But Ermindo from Lima had a wife by the name of Maria and they resided in Ny and NJ around the time my family was in Illinois. My late father gave me that name for his grandfather. I going to keep checking all the possibilities you sent me!

The list of Illinois deaths that lists Mabel Sabatini, that is my great granmother. I found that connection after the first replies to my post. Thank you!
The jury is still out for me on the Ermindo Sabatini with a different wife in N.J. I guess anything is possible. I have a call into a couple of my siblings to see what they remember. I'll keep you posted!
