On 3 Jan 1900 Concetta Magliola, 23, peasant farmer, declared the birth of Maria Rosa Magliola, the father is unnamed. I am confused by the dates both of Maria’s birth and the reference in the second paragraph.

Maria Rosa was born on the 30th of the past month – so she was born on 30 May 1900, at 1.30 am in the house in Via Solferino, No 6 from the declarant, Concetta Magliola, a casalinga, living Chiaromonte, an unmarried woman, and from Concetta Magliola's union with a man who she (Concetta Magliola) was not related to or similar.
