October 6, 1903 at town hall in Orsogna local officials, having received a copy of a birth record from the Comune of Fraine, it was transcribed into the register in Orsogna. The transcription indicates that the record is an extract from the birth records of the Comune of Fraine for the year 1888, record #7. Before comune officials in Fraine appeared Pasqua Landolfi, age 39, midwife, domiciled in Fraine, who declared that at 4:30 p.m. on October 3, in her home, Maria Nicola di Benedetto, farmer, wife of Giovanni de Grandis, farmer, gave birth to a male child who was presented to me and to whom was given the name of Fioravante.

Witnesses were Enrico Tilli, age 21, servant, and Giuseppe Rossi, age 21, landowner, both residents of Fraine.
The declarant reported the birth because she assisted in the birth and the husband of di Benedetto could not report it because he was far from the comune.
