October 19, 1849 before comune officials in Orsogna appeared Luigi della Penna, age 35, farmer, domiciled here on Strada dell Villa da Piedi, who presented a male child and declared that the child was born to Camilla d’Alleva, his legitimate wife, age 25, farmer, domiciled with him, and the declarant. The child was born on the above date at 10 o’clock Italian hours (about 4 a.m.) in their home and was given the name of Nicolò Saverio.

Witnesses were Nicolò Saverio Desiderio, farmer, age 40, domiciled in Orsogna, on Strada della Villa da Piedi and Raffaele Desiderio, farmer, age 43, domiciled in Orsogna on the same street.

On the right margin it indicates that Nicolò Saverio della Penna was baptized on October 19, 1849 in the Parish of San Nicolò di Bari.
