help with birth cert translation

Post by JohnBhoy »

Looking for a little help translating this birth cert please...entry 54

https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903 ... at=1019419

Struggling to work out the part after the mothers name where it says she was a contadino and also the side notes.

I believe I have the death cert where this baby died 18 months later although they miss out 'Guiseppe' in that cert just using Effisio

many thanks for your help,
John

1887 Aug 31
Sant’Antonino di Susa
Maggiorino Dodero, 44, peasant, living in the same comune, declares that at half past nine pm of Aug 30 in hishouse in Borgata Pian Palmero, his wife Orsola Rossetto Casel , peasant, living with him, gave birth to a male child to whom he gives the names Giuseppe Effisio
The side note only states that the books were verified on September 1
