January 13, 1851 at comune offices in Marsala appeared Antonino Giacalone, age 30, farmer, domiciled in Marsala, who presented a male child and declared that at he was born of Brigida Sciacca, his wife, age 20, domiciled with him, and of the declarant at 10 a.m. on January 13 in their home. The child was was given the name of Vincenzo.

Witnesses were Antonino Chirco, age 35, shoemaker, and Antonino Russo 40, shoemaker, both residents of Marsala.

Vincenzo Giacalone was baptized on January 13, 1851 in the Parish of the Chiesa Madre
