can someone please confirm for me

Post by stellina13 »

The record below is the birth record of Luigia Carano b 3/29/1805. Luigia's father was Flamino Carano. Flamino was the son of Raffaele Carano and Serafina Bucci.

Luigia's mother was Vittoria Polidoro. Vittoria was the daughter of Giuseppe Polidoro and Francesca Giovanna Salutari from Casetelvecchio Subequo.

Can someone please confirm the information I typedbabove is correct. I believe it is but need another set of eyes. Thank you so very much!

Yes, it's the same village I thought of.
But I was doubtful, as it's rather far from Castel di Ieri.

It is definitely not close, about 120 km, but I think it's possible. The comune is very tiny, with a current population of 156. (Population was 790 in 1861) Even with that tiny population, the Bucci surname appears today, so that seems to make it more likely that it is correct, even with the distance.
