(Record #10 on page 221)
Seen here is a church marriage record between Giovanni Liuzza and Anna Principato in Giuliana, Siciliy in April 1903.
While it lists Anna's parents, for Giovanni it states son of Giuseppe but then says "naturalem" and doesn't list a mother. Does anyone know the context of what this could mean?
Thanks!
Also potentially of note: I've had trouble finding a baptism record in Giuliana for Giovanni Liuzza (should be in or around 1877)

Giovanni's parents were not married.

Perhaps Giovanni had not been baptized in Giuliana.

I'd say "Josephae" = "Giuseppa" was Giovanni's mother.
