Trying to find Birth/Death Records for Great-Great Grandfather

Hello, Its been a while since I've been on here and started up again researching my ancestors. I'm trying to find Birth and/or Death record for Giuseppe Tessitore. Per his marriage act, he was born around 1840 in Ruviano, Caserta, Campania, Italy. Are there records that go back that far? I think be died around 1917. His marriage act indicates they were married in Amarosi. I can not find his Birth Act or Death record anywhere.

This is the his Marriage Cert. to Pasquelina Colella. It translates to:

Before the official appeared:
~Giuseppe Tessitore, age 48, farmer, born in Ruviano, residing in Amorosi; son of deceased Nicola [Tessitore] and of deceased Margherita Frascatore, both residing in Ruviano in their lifetimes.
AND
~Pascalina Antonia Colella, age 20, born in Amorosi, residing in said town; daughter of deceased Pascale [Colella] and deceased Antonia Porto, both residing in Amorosi in their lifetimes.
Publication of banns was made on 15 and 22 April.
The guardian of the bride, Nicola Di Crosta, appeared to give consent.
Witnesses to the recording of the marriage: Davide Maturi, 76, landowner; and Bartolomeo Di Chiara, 39.

It's hard to read the record, but the baby's first name might be Giuseppe Antonio. His father was Andrea; the mother's last name is hard to read, but her first name might be Marta.
