I was recently helping a cousin with some research and came across a relevant birth record for a member of their family who was a foundling. My Italian is not proficient enough to translate the whole handwritten record, especially due to the use of the non-standard language used to describe the circumstances of the child's discovery. If someone could help translate the record in full it would be greatly appreciated. It is record number 3 at the link below.

L'anno 1892 il giorno 26 del mese di febbraio, alle ore antimeridiane 9 e minuti 10, nella casa comunale di Mischito.
Avanti di me Eduardo Jannuzzi, Segretario Comunale dal Sindaco delegato con atto dell'8 gennaio del corrente anno, debitamente approvato dal Procuratore del Re, ufficiale dello stato civile del Comune di Mischito, è comparsa Anastasia Soranna, di anni 62 di professione raccoglitrice di trovatelli, domiciliata in Mischito, la quale mi ha consegnato un bambino di sesso maschile, dell'apparente età di un giorno, avvolto in alcuni cenci; cioè di un pannolino di tela color verde, di una fascia di flanella celeste e di una cuffia anche di flanella colorata, senza segni apparenti sul corpo né sulle vestimenta, contro segno o scritto atto a farlo riconoscere; come ha dichiarato che stamane, verso le ore antimeridiane 1 e minuti 10 ha inteso, nella ruota comunale a lei affidata, sita in questo abitato al largo Purgatorio numero 10, un pianto fanciullesco, trovando questo bambino presso cui erano le vesti sopra descritte, giacente supino e racchiuso nelle fasce con ambo le mani.
Al detto bambino ho imposto il nome di Michele ed il cognome di Miranda, e gli oggetti che furono trovati presso lo stesso bambino sono stati rimasti al medesimo.
Infine, per mancanza di pubblico stabilimento, il bambino si è consegnato alla balia Antonia Jaso, residente in questo Comune, che ricevendolo ha promesso di assumersene l'allevamento e la custodia, e di darne conto ad ogni richiesta dell'Autorità; e nulla trovando in contrario all'istanza medesima, vi ho aderito lasciando il bambino alla balia medesima.
A quanto sopra e a questo atto sono stati presenti quali testimoni Carlo Pafundo di anni 58, carditore, ed Angelo Mastrantuono di anni 59, servente comunale, entrambi domiciliati in Mischito.
Letto il presente atto a tutti gli intervenuti, viene sottoscritto da me soltanto, non sapendo essi scrivere.

In front of me Eduardo Jannuzzi, Municipal Secretary delegated by the Mayor with deed of 8 January of the current year, duly approved by the Crown Prosecutor, civil status officer of the Municipality of Mischito, appeared Anastasia Soranna, 62 years old by profession collector of foundlings, domiciled in Mischito, who gave me a male child, of the apparent age of one day, wrapped in some rags; that is, of a green cloth napkin, a light blue flannel band and a cap also of colored flannel, with no apparent signs on the body or on the clothings, or any the sign or writing to allow recognition; and she stated that this morning, at about 1:10am, she heard, in the municipal wheel entrusted to her, located in this town off the Largo Purgatorio number 10, a boyish cry, finding this child with the clothes described above, lying supine and enclosed in the bands with both hands.
To the said child I imposed the name of Michele and the surname of Miranda, and the objects which were found with the same child have remained with him.
Finally, due to the lack of a public establishment, the child was handed over to the wet nurse Antonia Jaso, resident in this Municipality, who, receiving him, promised to take care of his upbringing and custody, and to give account of it at every request of the Authorities; and finding nothing contrary to the same request, I adhered to it, leaving the child to the same nurse.
To the above and to this act were present as witnesses Carlo Pafundo aged 58, carder, and Angelo Mastrantuono aged 59, municipal servant, both domiciled in Mischito.
Having read this deed to all those present, it is signed only by me, not knowing them how to write.
