Grandfather (Michele Formiglio) left Naples and came to New York City Jul 25, 1913. Stated he was from Lacedonio. He was born 1888. Rumor has it, he left a wife and son in Italy. He changed his name in USA. Would like to find Formiglio family in area...possible connection?!

hi antonio im a formiglio. My grandfathers name was harrison and his fathers name was michael, he was from italy and came to america, and suposably had a family in italy.. maybe a connection.

Michele Formiglio, born 16 March 1893, was married to Antonietta, had a son, Cereso Formiglio born about 1914. His parents were Dominic Formiglio and Kathleen Densulo. He left Lacedonio and came to America without his family and never returned. Trying to locate family in Italy.

I've now retired and can get back to genealogy.

Grandfather Michael Formiglio was born 16 Mar 1894 in Lacitnia, Italy per his immigration records.

He said he arrived in Boston 29 July 1914 on the Palormina from Naples.

He said he had a wife, Antonetti born 12 April 1896.
Also stated he had a son Cereso Formiglio born 16 Feb 1914.

I am trying to find anyone remaining in Italy. He started a new family in Philadelphia and never went back for his wife and son.

Any suggestions? Sure wish I spoke Italian. Thank you.
