I just finished translating the death record of my 3rd-Great-Grandfather, Giacomo Di Gennaro. Below is my transcription of the original Italian record, as well as my English translation.
I think the translation came out ok, but if anyone has any suggestions, I would certainly appreciate it and welcome any "constructive criticism!"
(Certain phrases, such as "Num. d’ordine tre," and "e ne abbiamo riconosciuta la sua effettiva morte" were a bit awkward to translate into English; not sure if others here have better ways of translating such phrases than me?). Thanks as always!Original Italian Transcription

L’ anno mille ottocento cinquanta il di cinque del mese di Gennaio alle ore sedici avanti di Noi Luigi Varo Sindaco ed Uffiziale dello Stato Civile del Comune di Troia, Distretto di Bovino, Provincia di Capitanata sono comparsi Ponziano Cirucci, del fu Michelangelo, di Troia, di anni quarantacinque, di professione calzolaio, regnicolo, domiciliato in Troia, ed Antonio Capuano, del fu Cristoforo, di Troia, di anni quarantanove, di professione calzolaio, regnicolo, domiciliato in Troia, e quali han dichiarato, che nel giorno quattro del mese di Gennaio anno sudetto alle ore ventuno, e morto Giacomo Di Gennaro di Troia, di anni ottantacinque, di professione bracciale, domiciliato in Troia, figlio del fu Carlo, marito di Angela Catallo.

Before me, Luigi Varo, Mayor and Civil Status Officer of the Municipality of Troia, District of Bovino, Province of Capitanata, appeared Ponziano Cirucci of Troia, son of the late Michelangelo Cirucci, forty-five years old, by profession a shoemaker, a citizen who lives in Troia, and Antonio Capuano of Troia, son of the late Cristoforo Capuano, forty-nine years old, by profession a shoemaker, a citizen who lives in Troia, and they have declared that Giacomo Di Gennaro of Troia, eighty-five years old, by profession a day-laborer, who lived in Troia, son of the late Carlo Di Gennaro, husband of Angela Catallo, died at 9:00pm on the fourth day of the month of January of the aforementioned year.
For the execution of the law, we moved together with the said witnesses to the deceased person, and we recognized his actual death. We then formed the present record, which we inscribed above the two registers and read to the declarants, on the day, month and year as indicated above and signed by us and by both witnesses.
