D'Angelo family (again), Bojano area

Post by CarolMorris63 »

Hello again,

I have resumed my ancestry search, hoping to fill in some gaps.

You were able to locate Romualdo D'Angelo (about 1776-31 Dec 1816), but we do not have a spouse.

He is the son of Antonio D'Angelo (1744-1807), married to Petronilla Chiovetti, but there is no birth or death for her.

Petronilla is a beautiful name; is it common in Italy?

Thank you,
Carol

In the Marriage Processetti that I posted in a previous thread for Domenico (son of deceased Romualdo D'Angelo),
I included the link to the extract of baptism/birth of Domenico. In the act it states that he is the son of Romualdo D'Angelo and Teresa Malatesta.

Including Domenico's baptism/birth extract link again, here.

Thank you. I am sorry I missed Teresa's name prior.

The date I can see on the link you attached is 10 April 1830?

Somehow, I may have twisted my dates around.

I show Antonio D'Angelo (1744), Romualdo D'Angelo (1776), Domenico D'Angelo (1808), Nicola D'Angelo (1848), then Felice D'Angelo (1872), my great grandfather.

This is the date the extract was created for the marriage documents.
In the birth extract for Domenico you will see "milleottocento ed otto" (1808)

Petronilla and Petronella are not as common as Maria :-) but certainly not unusual. You might also see Petra and Petrina.
