Can you post the link to the original document? If it's from FamilySearch or Antenati the original is a larger, high-resolution image and is way easier to translate.

I agree with mother of the groom being Caterina Mancini.
Bottom third -
They presented evidence of the publication of the intent to marry on April 13 and April 20, 1884. The spouses, in the presence of witnesses, state that from their natural union were born two children that were registered as of unknown mother, one on August 28, 1880 who was given the name of Giovanni in birth act #63 and the second a girl whose birth was reported on March 29, 1883, who was given the name of Margherita in act #25 of the register. With this marriage act they recognize these children as their own and this act legitimizes their births. The act was read to the parties who all signed except for the wife who is illiterate.
