My grandfather was Frank Sausto. His dad was Peter (Pietro) Sausto who moved to the USA from from Potenza, Basilicata in Italy where he was born in 1877. After moving to the US he lived in Pittsburgh the rest of his life until he died in 1973. He had two wives. The first was named Carmela who didn't have children. After she passed away he sent off to Italy for another wife, Rose. Together they had 2 daughters that were older than my Grandfather - Rose and Theresa. We also heard they had another son that died before he was 5.
