Ruoli Matricolari prior to 1877 Frosinone

Post by JamesM »

I'm searching for the ruoli before 1877 for Esperia in Frosinone.

This is what's available
http://www.asfrosinone.beniculturali.it ... atricolari

Maybe they are not online or they don't exist.
Does anyone have any ideas where to find them if they are out there?

Hi, the name Esperia was just from 1867, when all hamlets was reunited in one Municipality and the people called the new Municipality Esperia. The hamlets was: Badia di Esperia, Monticelli, Roccaguglielma (Esperia Superiore), San Pietro in Curolis (Esperia Inferiore)-

I believe that you can find something before of 1877, searching in Caserta Archive of State because in Roccaguglielma wasthe main hamlet of Esperia and in Roccaguglielma was the Town Hall of Esperia, well and Roccaguglielma as other hamlets of Esperia, they made part of Caserta province.

As you know Frosinone is a modern province created removing part of the municipalities from the neighboring provinces and Roccaguglielma and other hamlets comprised in current Esperia was in Caserta province

you can search by men born from 1861

Thank you for the suggestion.
I have tried searching through the records from Caserta and found no one from Esperia or the frazioni of Esperia.

So no one? As it is possible?
strange because until 1865 Roccaguglielma was part of Caserta province http://dl.antenati.san.beniculturali.it ... Frosinone/
Monticelli http://dl.antenati.san.beniculturali.it ... Frosinone/
San Pietro in Curolis
http://dl.antenati.san.beniculturali.it ... Frosinone/
so wherethe men born in these villages made the military service= Normally in the pertaining military district of pertaining province. Pertaining Caserta and the military districts was in the Caserta provincial area.. now You say so...
