Rosaria D'Angelo's birth record
Re: Rosaria D'Angelo's birth record
When opening the image the enlargement is still too small to read accurately.
I looked for the original birth act (#440) in Termini in 1839, but it is missing.
Here is a summary of the ESTRATO (extract) of birth that you posted. (#440)
It is dated 7 October 1839 at 3 PM before the official in Termini
Before him appeared Donna Maria Anna Giovenco, 40, a clerk in the house of the abandoned, residing in that house, to report ...(here there is a mention of another comune - it is difficult to read)... that on the 6th of this month was found a newborn female to which the official imposed the name Rosaria D'Angelo.
Then according to the law the birth was recorded into the register... not sure if it was also recoded in the other Comune...
It states that today at 7 PM at the wheel of the abandoned, a newborn without any signs of identification was found ... she given the name Rosaria. (onto page 2) and given to be nursed to Filippa d'Angelo, wife of Maestro Ignazio ... Today in Termini 6 October 1839.
Signed by the official.
Notation of an official copy made "today" 16 December 1853 - probably for a marriage.
[This bolded statement is also what is written on the note you provided.]
Right column of birth extract indicates that the child was baptized in the Parish in Termini on 7 October 1839 with the name Rosaria D'Angelo.
