Help translating a letter

Post by Jamiec1076 »

I need some help translating my ex uncle in-law who’s an 80 year old Sicilian and he writes to me in half Italian and half English! Lol. Any help would be wonderful!! Sorry, I had to separate it into 3 sections!

The following won't be perfect but hopefully it will help.

Dear Jamie

.... savi? sensible/wise? the letter that you wrote to me in Italian and it surprises me how you managed to do that?

Now I wish to know what you wrote to me. .
....... ... and I never was able to know the contents of the letter (I have never been able to know the contents of the letter).

I want to thank you for the photo which shows the two of us. I would like to receive a photo of you without the mask? because I have a photo of Julia and I will put them close together so that I can put them close to me.

Now dear Jamie, I have the pleasure to know the contents of the letter.
Write as soon as possibile and we will be in touch.

Dearest nephew, I greet you and hug you – at the closing of the letter - I had the answer of your translation from English to Italian – a brilliant idea.

You deserve a special greeting.

I miss you all but see no idea to repair/put right? I hug you all.

(He sounds like a sweetie.)

Dear Jamie

I saw ? the letter that you wrote to me in Italian and it surprises me how you managed to do that?

Now I wish to know what you wrote to me as Jackie took it away ? and I never was able to know the contents of the letter (I have never been able to know the contents of the letter).

I want to thank you for the photo which shows the two of us. I would like to receive a photo of you without the mask? because I have a photo of Julia and I will put them close together so that I can put them close to me.

I think you read broken English, or is it broken Italian? better than I do, Pippo!!! Initially I thought that it possibily said that someone (yes looks to be Jackie) "tore" the letter? Anyways, I was understanding that it got damaged some how. but the word that is written is not so clear. Removing the letter makes sense.
