Need some help with translating this Marriage record. I can't make out the bride's first and last name. I can see the middle name is Maria. Maybe the last name is Assunto? Not sure at all on the first name. Looks like Muli, but probably isn't right. The name appears twice in the document and I still can't figure it out. Also, the groom's profession, is that a sulfur miner?

Also, I could use some advice on another situation I have. I have a birth record for Giuseppe Galiano born 16 Feb 1828 in Racalmuto, Sicily. I'm not finding any other Giuseppe Galianos born around that time in that city. I found 3 birth records for children of Giuseppe Galiano all with Carmela Petrozzella as the mother, all born in Racalmuto. Found Carmela's birth record, also born in Racalmuto on 13 Nov 1837. But I can't for the life of me find a marriage record for them. Their ages on their son Calegero's birth record seems right. Normally in the birth records when they list the father they will also list the first name of his father, but that isn't the case with these three records. I need to tie his Giuseppe to his father Bernardo to be sure. Which is why I need the marriage record. So, I'm wondering if it is possible they just weren't married. Or maybe they got married in another city, though I don't think it likely. Not sure how to verify. Any ideas? I'll post the links for the children's records in case there is something in there I couldn't decipher:
Calogero Birth: https://www.antenati.san.beniculturali. ... d=15440058 Page 93 #91
Giuseppa Birth: https://www.antenati.san.beniculturali. ... d=15440054 Page 20 #18
Marianna Birth: https://www.antenati.san.beniculturali. ... d=15440051 Page 31 #29
Unless I can find Giuseppe or Carmela's death record, maybe, on FamilySearch. Antenati only goes up to 1865 for this city. I think researching Noci spoiled me. Easier to tie people together.

Her given name is Maria Assunta (Assumption of Mary), not uncommon. What you guessed as Muli is her surname. I'm not sure what the spelling is.

This appears to be a sister of the bride - same parents.

Name: Leonarda Maria Mulé
Gender: Female
Baptism Date: 21 set 1859 (21 Sep 1859)
Baptism Place: Racalmuto, Agrigento, Italy
Father:
Nicoló Mulé
Mother:
Crocafissa Agró

I suppose it's pronounced Mul-AY or Mu-LAY.
I don't see anything different about the birth records that would suggest the parents weren't married to each other but maybe someone else will review and respond.
Re: Need Some Help with Marriage Record
Darkhorse, thanks, but I was referring to the second part of my original post, Giuseppe Galiano and Carmela Petrozzella possibly not being married to each other.

Yes, they were married. Carmela was only 14 when they married. If you need the following translated just set up a new post. (It looks like there is some really good info included amongst the allegati listed on the third page of this document.)
1852 Marriage No 58: Maestro Giuseppe Galiano and Carmela Petrozzella: Page 116: https://www.antenati.san.beniculturali. ... d=15439928 (Giuseppe’s father was M.tro Bernardo Galiano which will help confirm things for you as regards the Birth Record you located.)

Re: Need Some Help with Marriage Record
You are very welcome for the help.
Also, re the groom's occupation, the word used in the marriage record is Zolfaraio, not Zolfataro. Both words basically mean the same thing. There seems to be several words/variations used to indicate "sulfur miner".
