Can someone please confirm the notation that this newborn was deceased at birth: Argenzio #118:
https://www.ancestry.com/imageviewer/co ... bel=Return
I have searched 10 years before/after 1875 but did not find another Vincenzo born to the same parents. I have his marriage and death records but have not been able to find his birth.
Thanks!

Re: Help with birth record notation
Yes, when presented to the official he recognized the child to be without life. [senza vita]
Can you post a link to the marriage?

Re: Help with birth record notation
If he was born in Viggiano, there would be a publication of banns of marriage recorded.
I checked years 1890 through 1906 and did not find one. This would have been required for marriage.
Are you sure he was born in Viggiano?

Yes, I am certain he was born in Viggiano. His siblings were born in 1860; 1863; 1866; 1869.
He immigrated to the U.S. in 1881 and married someone from his hometown in Boston 1914.
