Clemente Vallese's Birth Town

On Clemente's death record, his birth town is listed as S Egidio a Mare.
I figured this to be Sant'Egidio all Vibrata, Teramo as he passed in Colonnella.
His birth doesn't come up in 1828 or the surrounding years.
Could Sant'Egidio a Mare be a different comune, frazione or a comune absorbed by another comune?
