No father's name is given, only an age . Mother's name is Teresa Scarmato. That surname is found in Maropati.Dunio1962! wrote: 26 Aug 2022, 02:14 Thank you darkerhorse. Any idea on the names of the parents of the deceased ?

Re: Translation help needed Death Record Pasquale Mandarano
I am just adding to what has already been said and making a correction:
The deceased Pasquale Mandarano, 47 yo, day labourer, was born in Anoia Superiore. He died on 19 March 1865 and he was the son of the deceased Domenico (Mandarano) (see the footnote lower right).

Good eye, Angela. I did not notice the footnote. I thought it odd his name was omitted but age included on the original record. Obviously an oversight...AngelaGrace56 wrote: 26 Aug 2022, 03:29 I am just adding to what has already been said and making a correction:

Thanks. It is not very clear actually - if you take a closer look where it incorrectly reads "figli di quarantasette" then directly underneath "quarantasette" there is a fading little "(a)" which was what alerted me to the fact there would be a footnote/annotation towards the bottom of the record. Then just before the annotation you'll once again see "(a)" I probably would've missed it myself if I was using my tablet and not my pc.
