Could you please help me with the translation for Concetto Calabro's birth record? He was born in Floridia, Italy on April 10, 1897 to Carmela Russo and Sebastiano Calabro.

Registered Floridia on 13 April 1897

Concetto Calabro was born 2 am on 10 April 1897, in the house in Via Roma, No 38, from Carmela Russo, wife of Sebastiano Calabro’, a muratore (bricklayer/mason), both living in Floridia. The midwife presented the baby and registered his birth in place of the father who was far from the town at the time.

Annotation: On 5 May 1925? Concetto marries with Agata Failla in Floridia.

Thanks for your help AngelaGrace. It's Interesting that they added that date/place for their wedding. According to this site, Concetto Calabro and Agata Failla were married in Hartford Connecticut on 11/3/1926: https://www.ctatatelibrarydata.org/marriage-records/

I will look into that further on that to verify which is correct.

I will look into that further on that to verify which is correct.

I just checked both the 1925 pubblications and marriages and surrounding years and there was no marriage there for Concetto and Agata. Obviously. an error has been made.

Maybe someone else can take a look at the annotation to check that I have deciphered the script correctly as it's not super clear.
