Marriage Records

Hi,

I am in search of two marriage records from the town of Sora, Frosinone in Lazio.

The first marriage is between Giuseppe Cipollone (born 1836 in Sora) and Maria Capobianco (born 1838 in Sora). I have found many records for the births of their children, the first I have found is Luigi Cipollone born in 1870. I have searched through the marriage records during the 1860s in Sora but have not been able to find Giuseppe and Maria's marriage.

The second record is between Saverio Tersigni and Domenica di Norcia (both born circa 1837). I have only found the birth of one child to Saverio and Domenica, a daughter Lucia Tersigni born in 1868. Is it possible they only had one child? As well, I have not been able to locate the marriage record between the pair.

What is the exact date of the birth of Luigi Cipollone in 1870? There is no index to direct me.

Luigi was born on September 4, 1870 in Sora. As well his mother died in 1884, and afterwards his father remarried to a Filomena Fantauzzi, though I have not been able to find that marriage record either.

I have located the birth act of Giuseppe Cipollone in Sora in 1836 (#71)
He is the son of Angelantonio Cipollone, 28, farmer; and of Mariantonia Cianfarani, 28, his wife.
Birth on 10 March 1836
Unfortunately, there is no annotation of marriage on the record.

This would make Giuseppe age 34 at the birth of Luigi.
You say you have found other children. Are any of these births prior to 1870?
While it is not always the case, I would expect to find the first son named after the paternal grandfather. In this case Angelantonio.

Hi, I have looked through the records as I too thought the same, though maybe I missed it will looking. All the children I have found were after the year 1870. I have found 7 children between Giuseppe and his first wife, Maria Capobianco, and 9 with his second wife, Filomena Fantauzzi. I believe that there were more children as my family has always mentioned Giuseppe to have had 18 children.
