death record

Post by renlady »

Hi,

I think i have this correct. This is a death record for Antonio Pitringa age 80 from Militello Rosmarino who died at age 80. Son of the late Biagio and Vincenza and widower of Nunzia Sciano. The death was recorded on October 8, 1884 but he died the day before on October 7th, 1884? Im just checking my translation, i am not too good.

thank you so much for what you do.

see attached file

sincerely,
Cathy

Excellent!!! Both were deceased (of course). Biagio was a mugnaio (miller) and Vincenza a filatrice (spinner) who had both lived in Militello when living. Yes, died ieri (yesterday) so 7 Oct 1884 as you've said.
