Giori and Pasanni families from Nozza, Brescia

Post by Janlee »

Hello, Is anyone also searching for ancestor information in Nozza? My great grandmother Angelina Giori immigrated from there to Pennsylvania in 1907. I'm trying to locate information on her parents Bartolo Giori and Magoline Pasanni, as well as her siblings. Do you know where vital records for the town of Nozza are kept? Thank you.

Welcome to IG website
Nozza is a frazione (suburb of Vestone) so the civil records are held in Vestone says she was married when she came over by the name Angela Giori Anelini

Janlee, I recently started researching Angela Giori Anelini's son, Angelo Anelini, who was born in Germany about 1908. His father Alessio was a miner. Angelo was married to my grand Aunt, Rose Aguzzi, in New Haven, CT. He disappeared about 1935. On Ancestry, someone has him as Angelo Aguzzi-Nocera living in California and remarried. Some of the info makes sense and some doesn't. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! Michael

Hi, Michael— Sorry, I haven’t been on this site lately and just now saw your post. I do have some info about Angelo, but need to look over my notes for dates, places, etc. I will get back to you as soon as I gather the info. Janice
