Nicola Fino on his son's Birth Record

I'm trying to really understand this on. Nicola Fino is my grandmother's brother--and the man I am named after.

On his only child, Alessio's birth record there are two things I'd like your help to be absolutely sure I am getting all information......

One is why Nicola couldn't report the birth (midwife did)--I just don't trust my google translate enough

Two is the first side note on the record-- I can see that Nicola died 15 Dec 1915, but don't fully understand the rest...

He didn't announce the birth "perche` sotto le armi" he was under arms -in the army or military (also he was already deceased, as per the sidenote)

Side note -the father is dead because of the national war as communicated by the minister of war-the date 11th of Dec 1915

He died in the town of Rovigo in a civil hospital there. However it appears that he didn't die until Jan 25, 1916, so he was in the armed services at the time of his son's birth and not already deceased. The copy of the record from Rovigo was not received in Casalvecchio until March 20, 1920. It has the name of his wife in the record, as well as his place of birth being Casalvecchio. His father, Alessio, was already deceased, but it appears that his mother, I think her name is Fioralba Rottaci (sp?), was still alive. He was age 24 at death and a corporal. The date in the margin of the birth record concerning the communication from the Minister of War about his death has to be the year 1916 and 1915. It is not his date of death.

I'd just located this as well.

Mother’s name looks to be Fioralba Rosacci.
He was married to Francesca Celozzi.

Just to add, that I couldn't see any evidence of the name Rosacci but that is clearly what it looks like.

Wow! Thank you so much...I had only discovered these post 1910 records the other day and have only (minimally) reviewed up to 1918. About to post then BAM! Thank you so much for the Death Record...I was going to search after I posted this Thank you too Angela!

BTW Fioralba Rossacci That is her, Alesio & Nicola in the picture at https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Rossacci-1--She is one tough looking lady!
