Processetti of Giuseppe Paliotta and Celeste Del Gigante

Post by JamesM »

I found the following record among Giuseppe and Celeste’s processetti

https://antenati.cultura.gov.it/ark:/1 ... 03/wW6gJm0

I can’t figure how it ties into their marriage.
I believe it is for Maria Moretta age 60 daughter of Stefano and ? Grossi.

Giuseppe’s first wife passed in January 1832 and her name was Rosaria Moretti, daughter of Clemente and Lucia Paliotta. That would not seem to be her

Yes this a death extract from 1823 for Maria Moretta. Mother's name Vincenza Grossi. I think it has possibly been misfiled? I couldn't see any mention of her in the list of allegati on the marriage document. However I also didn't see a copy of Rosaria's death extract so maybe that has also been misfiled. So she had only just died?

I thought it had been misfiled too.
Rosaria passed in January of 1832, only a few month before Giuseppe married again.

Thanks for the help

Happy to help. Yes, I located Rosaria's 1832 death record, and guessed you probably had as well.
